What to Expect

A multi-day gathering built for real discernment.

The Discernment Center is a two-and-a-half-day interactive gathering taking place May 25–27, 2027, in Des Moines, Iowa. It is designed to help candidates and regional leaders listen carefully, assess honestly, and identify the wisest next step.

The experience is highly participatory. Candidates do not simply sit through lectures. They engage in church pioneering exercises, interviews, presentations, group interaction, and guided reflection. You will be with other leaders who are in a similar place of discernment, along with coaches and multiplication leaders who are there to observe, encourage, ask questions, and offer feedback.
